Instructions

Press Space to generate a warrior cat! You can get up to 13 full warrior names at once if you're just looking for names, but getting 13 is rare. This is the messiest coding ever, I'm so sorry if you try to remix this. General Tips for Names: 1. Obviously don't use double names (Dappledapple, Blossomblossom, Snowsnow) or redundancies (Speckledfleck, Rockstone, Runningrunner). 2. Rhyming names or ones that almost rhyme don't sound right (Swiftdrift, Leafleap, Nightsight). 3. Triple letters are very hard to read (Mossshadow, Beeear, Chilllight). 4. Spring- and -spring are in the generator because they can be bodies of water or another word for leaping. Don't use season names (Summerpelt, Winterclaw, Autumntail), since warriors use different names for the seasons. 5. Names that combine to form a compound word (Snowstorm, Rainfall, Wildfire) often don't read right and just look lazy. The exception can be if they have been SHOWN to have traits associated with their suffix, like Sandstorm. 6. Cats shouldn't be named after their Clan or any other Clan in their 'group' (Thunderwhisker, Rippleshadow, and Skyfrost would all not belong in the canon Clans, no matter which individual Clan they came from). Clan names are sacred. Likewise with moon names if you're in the canon Clans (Moonflight, Dustmoon)! (I know the books have broken this, but the canon names are making...less sense by the book. Thriftear??) 7. Never, ever, EVER name a cat after a suffix they will or could get, even if it isn't their warrior name (Kitspots, Pawwhisker, Starnettle). Star is sacred and can only be a leader suffix, never a prefix. If your leaders use a different suffix, it's acceptable if still weird. Kitspots and Pawwhisker were once Kitkit and Pawpaw, which no queen would think was a good idea, and if Starnettle ever became leader, they'd be laughed out of their own ceremony. Kit- and Paw- are weird enough on their own to be inadvisable to use even if you have a different suffix for kits/apprentices. If you run into any glitches, please tell me! This my most complicated project (close only to Fake Chatroom) so I would appreciate comments on how to make it better, what you liked about what I put in, or just a simple love, fave, or both. Yes, the medicine cat can have been mentored by the leader. Yes, the littermates can have the same name. Yes, the kits can get the same prefix. I can't fix it, it glitches some more. Feel free to remix with more features, though I think I covered everything.
