Inspired by @xolthem @Random_Folk and @PixelGunsmith So uhh basically she can control the basic elements of nature (fire, water, nature, and air) and the moon and sun thingies help give power to certain abilities during the day or night (ex, moon gem empowers air and water powers during the night, and sun empowers nature and fire powers during the day. Sun can't empower air/water, and moon can't do vice versa.) She's still super powerful without it, but her magic range is limited to plants when she doesn't have her staff. She can talk/understand plants. And also defeated someone seeking to destroy all of nature and got turned into a tree by nature wanting to save her, yada yada, and got turned back by someone doing a thing and hurting nature :). She's usually stoic and angery, but that's just a facade for the shy and nervous bean to hide behind when she gotta save nature. She's uhhhh, 10ft 6in tall bc I wish to be tall and tall characters=cool.
