Planet of Eptioans: Plot: The Planet of Eptioans is a science fiction sitcom, created and written by Matt Goldman and Mike Schankler, that follows the adventures of a crew of Eptioans who live on their planet Eptio. The series follows the adventures of the title character, Captain Tarras (also the planet's sole inhabitant) and his spaceship, the SS Planet of Eptio. This is the only space-faring civilization on Eptio; a planet covered entirely with tropical foliage. The SS Planet of Eptio often comes to the rescue of planets in trouble, and is even able to use some of its special abilities to help itself. The characters on the show include Tarras and his co-pilot, Vladek. Tarras's mother, also an Eptioan named Hilda, is often a subject for humor and she generally lives on the SS Planet of Eptio. Two other Eptioan characters are the "Grand Duke of Pugs" and his "Minister of Pugs", the former of whom has the ability to control the minds of many individual pugs (to the chagrin of his political opponents). Two other "Pugs" characters are the "Chief of Cows" and the "Chief of Goats" (the "Pugs" in question having been the victims of a coup). The SS Planet of Eptio has a diverse population, and one member of that population was killed during the production of the series, as this was before the Internet was available.
