Hello! Professor Pistachio here with updates on Goomble Gurt II! GoombDex is now complete, all Goombles have a little written description. ARC is done with finals so he'll be helping with music again now that he's free. Right now what I'd like to tackle next is implementing saving memory, buying items, XP, leveling up after battle, and capturing. The reason for these steps is: To capture, you need to buy a GoombOS To buy a GoombOS, I need to handle shops To handle shops, I need to handle memory/save states So it looks like I'll finally be taking a crack at a very important engine. The reason this has taken a while to get to is you *really* don't want to forget something when making an engine like this. It needs to handle storing all data for story choices, unlocked areas, money, location, and a plethora of other things. I do have one idea up my sleeve to make the whole save/load process much faster while still being encrypted, but we'll see. See you next update, -Professor Pistachio
