Instructions

Welcome to Invasion! In this arcade platformer, your goal is to get as high score as you can before you die, like every other arcade game. Oh, and you only need the arrow keys. ===========================================================SCORE========================================================== How you get score? Well, there are two ways to score points. The first, is to stomp enemies. It's easy! Just jump on their heads like Mario. The second, is to collect apples. Why are you collecting apples you ask? I have no idea. But that's just how it is. Apples give unique amounts of score. Green apple - 5 points Red apple - 10 points Golden apple - 20 points And by the way, if you hold the up arrow key down while stomping an enemy, you will bounce higher than you would if you didn't! =======================================================HIGH=SCORES======================================================== A high score is the highest score gathered in a single round. In this game, the high score is global, so it's more like a world record. However, every arena has it's own global high score. I made it that way since it would be unfair if a record you did on a harder arena would be beaten by someone else at an easier arena. (you can read more about arenas further down) ===========================================================LIVES=========================================================== If an enemy hits you, you loose a life. You start with 6 lives and you can't get back the lives you've lost. Reach 0 life and it's game over (obviously). ==========================================================ENEMIES========================================================== Enemies are the dumb alien things trying to kill you. There are unique types of enemies and most of them comes through the holes in the ceiling. When they spawn, they will walk until they fall into a hole on the bottom of the screen. You should beware of the hole(s) yourself. If you fall into one, it's an instant game over. List of enemies: Robot - Literally just walks. Moon Crab - Also just walks, but sideways. Death Aster - It rolls and will hurt you if you touch it. Flying Dish - It will soar over the arena and shoot you. Giant Moon Centipede - It lies in it's name. ===========================================================ARENAS========================================================= That's right. There are multiple arenas. They all have unique looks and layouts. They even have their own high scores! If you want to switch to another arena, just click the green flag. When you do, it will switch to a random arena, so you might need to click it until you get the arena you want. I only made 2 areas so far, but tell me if you'd like me to make more :)
