Zack and Jason got mobbed by girls, I admit I did feel a tiny bit jealous when I saw a girl trying to flirt with Jason. He looked at me saw my face, and backed away from the girl. I walked to my locker ignoring Charlotte talking about me behind my back, her entourage looking at me and snickering like I looked crazy. I brushed my hair and put on my lip gloss, checking my outfit to make sure that I really didn’t look crazy, Not that I care what people think about me at this school. “She’s with Nick, not Jason. That means he’s free!” Nikki grinned looking at Charlotte, “I see.” I almost peed my pants! I needed to find Jason, as soon as possible! But of course, Jason came to my locker to talk to me about something “Ezmia, we need to talk…. About us,” “Right now?! I need to talk to you about something!” I said trying not to blush, but I did anyway. “You first!” we both said in unison “You first, Ezmia.” Jason said with a smirk “O- oh- Okay.” I stuttered “I wanted to tell you that Charlotte thinks I’m with Nick and that you’re up for grabs. Sorry….” I tried not to make eye contact. “No, no it’s okay, I came here to ask you to break up with Nick, I mean not now but like um... later?” I felt embarrassed, I had forgotten to break up with Nick and tell Sienna, I couldn’t believe it! The way he said that made me sound selfish and shallow. Like I was using him like I was a snobby girl! “I’ll do it today, not tomorrow, and not yesterday. Okay?” I shook my head, confused, puzzled. Then guess what? Nick came he was saying something about his video game, I didn't hear much of it. "Nick, I have to break it to you. I don't like you anymore." His eyes widened, Ezmia looked to her feet. She hadn't done that before, she wasn't one to hurt someone else without reason. "Oh, Okay. Great, bye!" Ezmia's eyes widened and she laughed a bit. "I was going to ask you that." Nick laughed. "Friends still?" "Of course!" He walked away, still blabbing about his game. She felt a wave of relief, that was easier than she thought.
