[Chapter 2] Koda wakes up in his same home, but much brighter, with a ghost standing in front of him. “What the- Who are you? Why are you in my den?” Koda says. The ghost smiles, and Koda realizes it is his sister. “Ruby? Is that you?” The ghost wags its tail. “Yes Koda, it is me!” Ruby says. Koda smiles, and wags his tail, but then it slowly stops. “T-this is a dream, isn't it…?” “Yes..” Ruby responds, feeling sorry for her brother. “But I have come here for a reason!” Koda’s ear’s go up. “Which is..?” Ruby sighs. “A hard time will come, with a old species that once existed, in order to defeat them, all boundaries must be broken, to restore all peace of Shiba kind.” “What does that mean?” Koda asks. Ruby starts to fade away. “Goodbye Koda!” She says. “WAIT NO- DON’T GO! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?” Koda yelps. But the ghost of Ruby has already faded away, and Koda’s eyes start to close.
