[Chapter 7] The three make their way deep in the forest. Koda looks to the right of him, and sees General Niko. He turns to his left and sees General Yuna. He walks between the two Generals, determined to not show any weakness. Eventually they enter a part of the forest where Koda has never been. Koda looks around, and remembers how his mother used to tell tales about Lord Shiba Inu. She described the forest as dark, foggy, and dusty, and she was right. The three dogs all walk until a huge, rocky cave shows ahead. Two Shiba Inu’s guard the entrance to the cave, and Koda knows that they have arrived, to the great Lord Shiba Inu’s cave.
