[Chapter 18] “Koda, I must thank you for everything you have done!” Lord Shiba Inu barks. “You have planned to rescue your friend when he was in danger, you came up with the idea for the battle to defeat humans, and you helped me complete my old owner’s dream! Most of all, you stepped up, when no other dog would. That’s what makes a real dog!” Koda nods his thanks. “And because General Niko is no longer with us alive,” Lord Shiba Inu paused for a moment. “We need a new General, and I believe you, would be the best dog for that!” Lord Shiba Inu says, putting down General Niko’s old armor. “This armor has been worn since the very first General Shiba Inu. It is invincible, but it has many scratches, to show the mark of each and every one of the Generals who worn this died.” Lord Shiba Inu says, pointing to the latest scratch. “General Niko will be remembered, and he must be very proud of you, from this day on, you will be known as General Koda!” Koda could barely believe what happened. Stunned, he nods his thanks. “Come back any time Koda, You are always welcome!” Lord Shiba Inu says, as Koda makes his way to the exit.
