[Chapter 19] That night, Koda walks into his den, and curls up in his nest, closes his eyes, and soon finds himself asleep. Koda wakes up in his den, but more brighter and more sparkly. He spots his sister in front of him. Koda leaps up. Ruby smiles and wags her tail. “Congratulations Koda!” She says. “Thanks!” Koda barks. “Wait...is this what you meant by the prophecy?” Ruby nods. “Yes, and you have saved our home, I am so proud of you, and I am proud to be your sister!” Ruby says, touching noses with her brother. “I must go now, but I will see you again soon!” Ruby calls out, as she starts to fade away. Koda’s eyes start closing until all he sees is black, then he wakes up in his regular den. He walks to the town, and sees how most dogs have recovered. It’s over now, everything is okay! Koda thinks happily.
