this was originally supposed to be for the collab thing by @MB_Tries_Things, but they unshared the project so now it's a process right arrow/click/space to advance left arrow to go back click to zoom 1. final drawing 2. close up 3. lineart on paper 4. edited photo of lineart (w/ microsoft photos) 5. photo of lineart edited even more (w/ pixlr e) 6. adjusted drawing on kleki, used the to-alpha tool to get rid of white bg, and put a gray background underneath the line art layer 7. imported ref, and then adjusted saturation and darkness on the reference 8. base colors 9. shading (done on multiply layer) I like to hide the color layer while doing shading. this was also my first time smudging (or whatever it's called) my shading 10. more shading + lighting (done on color dodge layer) 11. big jump- haha, sorry.
