Eggman evilly laughed as Cubot, curiously, tried to lift up the tarp covering the glass tube, wanting to see what was under it. "Don't!" Eggman swatted Cubot away and smoothed the tarp. "What is it, boss?" Orbot asked, peeking from behind Cubot. Eggman turned to them. "Sonic would attack a machine, but not a friend, correct?" Cubot looked at Orbot in confusion & scratched his head. "Uuhhh..." Orbot began to answer. "Of course not, you boltbags! " Eggman cleared his throat. "Anyways, using the most complex DNA samples, I have created....THIS!" He grabbed the tarp and pulled it off the tube, revealing a amaranth-colored hedgehog female with pink short hair, knee high boots and a skin-tight bodysuit with Eggman's insignia. Soon silence filled the lab. Cubot piped up. "...What is it?" Eggman stared at Cubot for a while & facepalmed himself. "This is Experiment 5t47. Once awakened, she'll pretend to be a survivor after my so- called "attack". She'll then be saved by Sonic and his friends, gain their trust. Then, once I appear, she'll betray them, I'll destroy them, and then Eggman Empire will rise!" Cubot and Orbot clapped. "WARNING! WARNING! Virus Detected!" said the computer, interrupting their victory. Eggman ran over to the computer and pressed all the buttons. "What?! Impossible! No viruses were detected earlier!" Glass cracked everywhere. "Boss! We have to go!" Eggman looked at the exit, then the computer. "Every man for himself!" Eggman ran to the exit & pushed Orbot and Cubot in the process. Orbot and Cubot got up a second later, & bolted to the door. Through the fire and glass, the computer flicked to a screen: "Deleting 'Dstroy. Wrld' Data From 5t47"
Part Two Starlette's body was limp on the ground, fire around her. Her yellow-green eyes barley opened. Ringing was sounding in her ears, but she could hear faint voices nearby. "Hey! I found someone!" A blurred blue figure was standing over her, pressing a finger to her wrist and brushing her hair out of her eyes. His hand still lingered on her face,caressing her cheek. He stared at her closed eyes, but then shook his head. "She's still alive!" "Well, lets get her out of here! This place is going to collapse!" said another voice, belonging to a red, bulky figure. The blue male picked her up in his arms & telling her to hold on. Starlette nodded weakly and gripped the back of his neck with the strength she had left. The red figure was close behind them, smashing falling metal parts. "I'll meet you later at the base, Sonic!" Sonic nodded to the red echidna & zoomed out of the lab into the snowy white forest. Starlette muttered a "thank you" as snow fluttered down from the sky.
