Hey folks! Just wanting to update anyone curious as to what I'm up to. Sadly, I'm likely not going to be returning to Scratch anytime soon. I had a lot of fun here, and made some good RP relationships with people. You guys know who you are, and I'm glad to have those interactions. They were really fun, and gave me a lot of inspiration for my concepts and helped me to do a lot of my worldbuilding for my characters and the stories behind the studios I made. I may just try doing RP again for some other ideas to get my creative juices flowing again. I started college this fall, and it's been pretty chaotic, but ultimately enjoyable, aside from personal issues. I had some personal drama in November that caused me quite a few issues in my own mental health, and I lost a lot of my motivation to socialize and part of my motivation to draw and do art, especially my art homework. Thankfully, I kept my grades up during that time, even though I was going through things. I recently got invested in Minecraft content, and it's helped me out a lot with my mental health and in reducing my stress. I found some content creators I enjoy the energy of, and started watching it a lot more, which has been a fun thing to help me out. I'm currently taking up anthropology as my major, so I won't be active.
1/4/24 UPDATE I'm basically gone from here. I've really enjoyed Scratch and the community I formed here, but now I have my own group of people that I've clicked with since going off to college. My mental health's dramatically improved since November 2022, and I've got a bunch of friends IRL that I play DND with now. Along with getting a psych diagnosis that's helped me with relearning about myself and made me reconnect and relearn so much while seeing just what I really need and how my past compares to my present and how my present knowledge truly changes everything in my past and future and how I interpret that. It's been great being on Scratch, and I'm glad I made the connections that I did.
