Because of his charisma Des can be overconfident, often believing himself to be better than others especially in the social category. Des is very friendly and often uses this to his advantage, allowing him to secure better paying jobs than many shy-er cats. When Des has a setback he bounces back easily being a very flexible person who can feel comfortable in a variety of situations. Being charismatic causes Des to have many friends that aren't too close, his aliment can shift quickly, making him fairly undevoted despite seeming loyal. His recklessness plays a part in this aspect of his personality, the majority of the things he does are spur of the moment. He comes up with a plan as he goes. Recklessness has caused him problems in the past which he is usually able to resolve using his charm. Des is mostly unaware of many of his flaws, them just being second nature to him. This can make him largely unapologetic when it comes to his mistakes unless he trusts and cares deeply about the other cat.
