With 40+ hours of work, and 1.3 thousand (what?!) blocks, I present to you my newest and best project... Daydream! This is my most popular game, thank you everyone for all the supportive and kind comments you've been giving me! I made this game to show that not all platformers, with enough effort, are generic. If you appreciate the hard work that went into Daydream, feel free to propose it at: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/28715018/ IMPORTANT: Double click the flag for good and non-buggy results :D Controls: ~ WASD, arrow keys, or space for movement. Hover your mouse to hide the level text (if the player touches it, it will also hide) Press R to reset ~
Update Log: ~ - Player animations (left, right, jump, the basics) - Player skin (again, finally) - Thumbnail (finally) - Added a very cool animation when you collect coins :D - Added two secrets! (thanks to @TheNightFury_70585 for the idea!) Try and find them :D - Coins, working on a counter soon - Christmas! Santa clouds and snow will (hopefully) brighten your day. Since Christmas is over, you can turn it on in Settings. I was planning to make a Santa's Gift ability, but I didn't get enough time and scrapped it :P - Added Settings, including functional music bar and particle switch for lag - Added "Moon Glow", a buff at level 5 and over to see better (it gets dark fast xD) - Made saws move! :D - Made a nice background, might make it a parallax soon ~ Thanks to @rgantzos for the tournament. It just started, so you can join and try to pass round 1 of the tournament! Or, you can join as a prizegiver and follow the top 3 winners. Everything is by me (platformer engine, most art) except from the credits below: - Griffpatch's pen effect tutorial for spike outlining (I made it a bit more elaborate) and background inspiration.
