Scenario A - A smaller marble hits a larger marble that is sitting still before it is hit.

NOTES: This animation is representing what occurs when a smaller object collides with an object with much larger proportions. "So what does occur?" Well in this animation we see that once the smaller marble collides with the larger marble the marble of greater proportions moves in the direction of the smaller marble. However, the tinier marble bounces off of the larger marble, resulting in the smaller marble to travel in the opposite direction.
