Space/right arrow/click background, click art to zoom. Zoom-in coding by @Colorsnatch So, I've been messing with some more art stuff this year, and I decided to post a few pieces! There's five art pieces, plus some origami I made for school. P.S. Sorry if the photos of my art are a little dull; my phone doesn't have the best camera and I'm not very good at taking photos. xD Any tips on photography will be appreciated! 1. Chalk pastel painting I made of a lighthouse on a rocky shore! I like how this one turned out, but if I ever remake it I'm going to try to make the lighthouse and shading a little better. 2. This one started out as just a chalk pastel painting, but I got bored of trying to shade and knowing when to blend/smudge or not, so I went in with some acrylics for the pathway and clouds. xD It's a little unfinished, so maybe someday I'll go in and add some more details! 3. Ooo this is one of the ones I made when I just started using chalk pastels! I'm lousy at drawing waves/ocean, as you can see. o.o But I'm really happy with how the sunset ombre thing turned out, especially since I made this as my first or second piece using this art medium! 4. This one I made the same day as #3, and is probably one of my favorites that I've made! I really like the soft, cool colours and the bird in the middle of the view. 5. Sunflower! I made this using multiple different graphite pencils, a tissue to blend, and a kneaded eraser for highlights. This is my first real attempt at shading with plain pencils, and I actually kind of like how it turned out. My six-year-old friend gave me some severe critique on it though, telling me that is NOT what sunflower petals look like, and knows so because she has sunflowers.... o.o xP 6. I made these paper cranes after reading Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (really good but super sad book! T-T)! The smallest one is about half the size of my index fingernail, and is made from one fourth or one eigth (can't remember) of a mini post-it. o.o Not sure how I managed to fold that, but I was able to do all but one step! Thank you for reading through this and checking out some of my art. Feel free to leave any tips that come to mind! Good day, and God bless! ^-^
