Arrow keys to move X to use tools, place inventory items, and enter buildings. Z to talk to characters, enter edit mode (in house), pick flowers, and switch tool C to open inventory Strategy guide: -basic guide- When you enter town, talk to Tom nook, he will ask for your name, and take you to your house. You have to do this before you can talk to the towns folk. Afterwards you can explore and talk to people, catch bugs and fish, and pick flowers. You will want to go find Tom nook in his shop. There, you can sell items, and buy items. You can also pay off your house here. To save, press S, and copy the code. Press S to make it disappear. -bells guide- To get bells, just stop by Tom nook’s shop and ask him to buy your items. The rarer the item, the higher the price. You can sell bugs, fish, fruit, flowers, and furniture. An other thing you can do, is talk to Farley at the plaza. If you put 1 bell into the well, you will have a chance to multiply to buy 10, 20, 30, or 40. You can do this once a day. You can also buy items at nook’s shop. This includes furniture, and flowers. -inventory guide- To open inventory, press C. When you have it open, you can select anything you have collected. Different things will happen depending on what you have collected. If you select a flower, it will be planted (only on your property). If you select a bug or fish, it will be released. If you select a furniture item, it will be placed (only in house). Remember to press C to close the inventory. -Environment guide- In this game, real time is a big deal. at night it will be dark out. and sometimes it will even rain! rivers and the shore can be fished at, and you can catch bugs at certain chunks.
