But how would she know??? Anyway, now that Adrien knew that Mari liked him, did he like her back? Would we even know with this boy- Mari (thoughts): So...Adrien knows I like him now...but does he like me back?...he did blush at me...Chloe said it meant nothing...or out could’ve meant something...IDK this is all so confusing! *Bell rings* Mari ran downstairs and outside to meet her friends for lunch. She went over to their usual spot behind the school by the forest.( She did used to sit with Luka but a few days ago Chloe invited her to sit with her) There she met with Chloe, Alya, and Juleka. Juleka was usually shy but talked a LOT around Mari, Chloe, and Alya. Soon everyone had arrived and they began to eat lunch. Chloe: So Mari, anything new with your boyfriend? Juleka: Mari has a boyfriend??? Mari: No, I just like this kid and now HE KNOWS I LIKE HIM so yeah there’s that Juleka: Who? Mari: Okay...I like Adrien don’t judge. Juleka: Adrien huh? Okay.... Chloe: So anyway Mari, anything new? Mari: Nope. I wish there was though... Chloe: You should ask him if he likes you back. Mari: Whaaaaaat? No way I’m not doing that. You should tell Luka though. Juleka: Let me guess, Chloe likes Luka. Chloe: Maybe I do but still I’m not doing that either. Besides, he’s always with that new girl Kagami. Mari: Oh, I know her! She’s in my English class. She’s always drawing and stuff. Chloe: *mocking tone* ‘always drawing and stuff’ Mari: *Rolls eyes* oh well.... Chloe: So if you’re not asking Adrien I am. Mari: What Chloe: *smacks face* I’m going to find out if he likes youuuuuuuu So later on that day... Mari couldn’t help but notice Lila was always with Adrien. She would always be by his side, laughing at his jokes. She kinda followed him too, and liked to be near him at all times. (Talk about cReEpY) Mari (thoughts): Lila is probably trying to figure out how to get Adrien to like her. They’ve known each other for a long time and maybe she’s grown to like him. But IDK... Then in gym Lila was with Adrien the whole entire time. During kickball she just had to be on his team. She stood right next to him at 1st base. She talked to him and sat next to him on the bleachers. She wouldn’t leave him alone. (Talk about RiDiCuLoUs) Then in 7th period (home room), Chloe ran from English all the way to their home room, clearly in a hurry. Mari: Chloe, what’s wrong are you oka- Chloe: I-GAVE-HIM-A-NOTE Mari: YOU DID WHAT Chloe: *out of breath* just read it. She handed a small, crumpled up piece of paper to Mari. She opened it and it read: Hey Adrien, you know that girl Mari that’s in your gym class? She has a crush on you. Do you like her back? ANSWER YES/NO: And guess what he put? Three letters- I. D. K.
