Larger mass marble strikes a smaller mass marble that is not moving before it is hit. (The opposite of scenario A.)

B - Here, the large marble (or in this instance galaxy) strikes the small marble (Ceres (Dwarf Planet)) that is at rest. After the collision, both marbles move in the same direction. The less-massive marble always moves faster than the more-massive one.
