╱╱ Crediting ✧ i. What is crediting? ii. Why is crediting important? iii. How do I credit? iv. Mer's notes v. Credits :D What is crediting? Crediting is when someone uses another person's content, and then leaves a link to their profile like this → @confrontinq in the description. Why is crediting important? Not crediting someone for their work is stealing. It shows that you do not acknowledge their hard work, and want to claim their content as your own. This, as you may have noticed, will lead to drama, fights, and reporting. How do I credit someone? If you use a code, or description layout, or are inspired by a project someone made, simply link their profile like this project idea by @confrontinq putting a period before someone's name like this @.confrontinq is not crediting. putting a slash before someone's name like this @/confrontinq is not crediting. If a person is able to click on the username, you have credited correctly. Mer's notes This project is purely informational. I will also be releasing a project with my opinions on the drama within the aesthetic community. If you disagree, please feel free to have a respectful debate in the comments! I'm always here to talk :) If you need someone to rant or talk to, I'm always here for you. Credits Account inspired by @pleaseread-, @hot-takes, and many others.
