(Original share date: December 24, 2021; temporarily unshared to finish project; I finally decided the Ghost of Christmas' fur color, but I can't erase the gradient part easily.) I haven't been making Scratch projects since like LAST YEAR (*GASP*!, yeah I know, I used to be an extremely prolific Scratch), because I want to put focus on works and projects outside of Scratch, such as expanding my art on DeviantArt. However, I've decided to plan the habit of brief returns to Scratch through digital holiday cards, art dumps for the kids, and probably other small things, so here's the first card for an extremely happy and commercialized-to-death holiday, CHRISTMAS! The art is supposed to be both a combination of my old art methods on Scratch per nostalgia and new ones I've developed for help in the long run. This was shared at like around 10:00 PM and I want this card to be shared before Christmas so people can send them to their relatives and friends, so the inside of the card was unfinished. #Art #Christmas #Xmas #WinterHoliday #Digital #GreetingCard #UseScratchForCoolCodingProjects #NotAsLittleKidsDeviantArt #ElfOnTheShelf () () While I haven't finally decided the Ghost of Christmas' gender yet, use "they/them" pronouns. PREVIOUS CHRISTMAS SPECIALS: (2019, yeah ikr) (2018) (2017) (2016, permanent WIP, RIP) (2015) and that's how far i'll go okay guys
This is kinda inspired by this cruddy remix I made of a greeting card starter project I made as a 9-year-old: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/11826970/ All art by me (Christmas lights on tundra bush are inspired by the ones in Animal Crossing: New Horizons; yep, I've been playing that game this year when I refused to last year; #biggestmistakeever) The concept of elves belongs to the public domain. I do own the Ghost of Christmas, though.
