Hello! This is a project I did for my science class. We had to choose an element, and then make a character with it. I chose Rubidium. Some facts about Rubidium are: -It is silver in color. -It is used to create purple and red fireworks. -It was discovered by Gustav Kirchhoff in Germany. -It is extremely reactive, which can make it toxic in certain circumstances.
My character's name is Alkali Kirchhoff. She is a descendant of Gustav Kirchhoff. Over time, the element Rubidium became imbued within the family. Literally, it's in their bones. Because of this, she has some... abilities. For one thing, she can create purple and red flames and fireworks from her hands. Also, the skin of her hands, if it comes into contact with water or any form of moisture, will burst into flame. For this reason, she always wears fireproof silver gloves when not performing. Her irises are silver, like the element, and do not have pupils. Her hair is a blend of purple and red. She can speak many languages, but always has a distinctly German accent, because that's where Rubidium was discovered. Alkali has a bold personality, and is always putting on a show. Very few people have actually seen her true self. She performs in small towns, never staying for more than a week, always moving on. The awe of the crowd is her greatest reward. She is almost always welcomed, and commonly known as "The Silver Lady". Her portable silver stage, which she takes with her, proclaims, "THE SILVER SHOW". She is not above making some mischief, and does not entirely care for the government or the law, but she is not a criminal. In the Dungeons & Dragons classification system, she would be Chaotic/Neutral.
