:) Previous: None! Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/626411756/ (DON'T READ UNLESS YOU WANT SOME SPOILERS) Copy of note at the end, but in a little more detail: Hey there, fungi here. Thanks for reading my short story about Oliver, a transmasc boy, living in a transphobic household. His father is entirely just... done with this. He's a homophobe, transphobe, and just... yeah. And his mother is a little more accepting, yet, she does nothing to help him. She watches and let's him flourish slightly, but doesn't assist him against her husband. This is meant to be short and sweet, and I may continue this drabble, if enough people want it. This story isn't meant to cover all issues or set an "standard" of what trans' people's issues are. It's a fiction story, supposed to dip some toes into the issues that trans people face everyday, especially transgender kids and teens. This story was written from some personal experience. AGIG (A Glass Is A Glass) is about LGBTQ+ kid's issues. If you have a problem about that, then please leave. Apologies to y'all, this is a little sloppy. :) Quick little edit (25/12/21): Heya, there, I just want to add, to avoid conflict and stuff, that pink ISN'T, but is considered USUALLY, a feminine color. A color is a color. I know that. But, in this, it’s toxic masculinity/femininity that pink is an inherently bad/feminine color. It’s also the reactions and how everyone responds that comes with the color, not the actual color. So, in this, Oliver hates pink because of the peoples ideas and beliefs of the color (feminism, it’s a ‘girl’ color, etc), not the actual color. He hates it because he doesn’t want to be attached to the person who his family thinks of him to be. He wants to be his own person, and since his father, whom Oliver hates, has the idea that pink means ‘you are a girl,’ and Oliver ISN’T a girl, but his father believes that, so he hates the color. That’s all that I have to say. :) (Again, a color is a color, I do not pick the ‘it’s a boy color’ or ‘it’s a girl color’ idea. Please don’t attack me.) [aaaaaaaaa I think I worded this badly] Another edit (I know, I know) [1/5/22]: Here's what transmasc means if you don't feel like looking it up. Transmasc/Trans masculine: Someone who was born female(a girl) and identifies as male(boy). It's an umbrella term. Google definition: “Transmasculine” is an umbrella term that refers to people who were assigned female at birth (AFAB) but identify with masculinity. It's often abbreviated as “transmasc.” I cherish all feedback greatly, so thank you so much if you have any. Thanks again for reading, and have a great week! :) Credits: Story: (me) Scratch.
