Geode - Who was once a show stopper, and now a distant memory “Please don’t let me go…” He raised a paw to the she’s face. She sighed and stood up, looking into the vast dark woods engulfing them like a flame. “I’m sorry,” she choked. “I don’t… want to die alone.” He reached again for her, trying to draw her towards him for one last hug of comfort and love. “My father would never approved of this passing.” He laughed. “Well, yeah. You’re father would not approve of most things.” She glared at him, then started to stalk off. She hung her head low, letting her tail drag against the cold bare snow surrounding the clan. “Stop! No don’t leave me like this! Please I have a family…” he choked on his own words, letting tears fall from his disappointed face. The forest laughed at his attempts to get up, the leaves scolding his actions, and the grass edging him to get up. But his body wanted to lay in eternal rest. A rest that he would never wake up from. And like that, his screams stopped, his eyes closed, and his movements stopped. Now being allowed to have the mark of approval… unless he would get now mark, a mark that you were never good enough for your clan or for your beloved ancestors above. —— Geode gasped for air as he woke up in a pool of water, glaring around his surroundings. He wiped his ears and face, trying to figure out if he had gotten his mark of approval. Geode looked into the water, yet not looking at his own reflection, yet his own body laying on the forest ground… untouched, unloved… He shook the water to see his own reflections again, a new light scar growling around his eye. The mark had three lines going down to level with his spots, and glowing just as bright as a newborn star. A slight glow surrounded Geode, one that felt like it could pull anything in to stare at its beauty. Wind started to pick up around the small pond, overwhelming him to a point where he thought a tornado was forming. Stars started to form, and those starts started to form into glowing cat forms… Cats started to walk through the wind, settling it down. “Geode..” a voice boomed across the forest… scaring away a few birds that were only trying to pass by. Geode backed away a little bit, hissing at the new cats started to come close to him. Five or so cats walked up to him, and bowed down. “Hello, Goosestar.” They kept their heads down, meanwhile Geode was trying to figure out who Goosestar was. “Your next life is a very exciting one! Isn’t it Vixenstar?” Vixenstar! The great leader who brought the clans together to create the meeting between all the clans every moon!? He bowed down in a great honor. “I suppose it is.. you do many great things, and have the highest respect and honor of us all.” A slight pause was between them, “oh, right. I’m Vixenstar, he is Piperstar, she is Bluestar, she is Quailstar, and he is Leafstar.” They all bowed down to me… clearly they did not know I was the one who should be bowing down to them, because they were such an honor. Once they got up I bowed down to them. “Thank you, my leaders. I won’t disappoint you. This is a high honor…” They all glanced to each other and nodded. “Well, don’t you think it’s time for your new life?”
