merry christmas and happy new year! this year has gone by so quickly. it is as if in a blink of an eye, we go from celebrating the start of 2021 to celebrating the end of it and the start of 2022. now, i have an important announcement that i would like to share with you all: i am officially leaving scratch. it was about 3 months ago when i returned to scratch thinking that i'd be able to at least spend a year or two on the platform. i felt that i had a lot more plans for it and that i also had a lot of things that i'd want to try. although, it didn't seem that my expectation turned into a reality. for these past few weeks, i've been thinking on my goals for 2022. "what can i do to spend the new year?" i asked myself. then, i reflected on these past two years: 2020 and the 2021. for me, personally, those two years have been a rollercoaster of winning and losing. from those, i have been able to learn a lot of new things and i want to incorporate those things more into my life. i want to focus on myself and my well-being. so, i say to myself that 2022 would be my year of self-development where i can let go of the small things and focus on the things that matter most in my life. that would mean letting go of the scratch community permanently. so, this is my start. i have had a wonderful time with scratch and its community, and i am officially ready to embark on a new journey beyond the virtual world. from today until the 1st of january, i will be giving myself time to pack up and say my goodbyes. after that, i will be permanently gone. thank you, truly, to everyone. i wish you all the best in life and may you all have a blessed 2022.
