If you click on a mine, you will blow it up, and the game is over. When you locate the position of a mine, put your mouse over the square, and hit the space bar, or press the bomb found button, then click on the square with the bomb to mark it. The rules and strategy of the game is simple, but hard to master: • the number on a block shows the number of mines adjacent to it and you have to flag all the mines. • You start by clicking at any random place since it is your first game. Chances are you'll get blown up in the beginning. Remember, the number is the mines adjacent to the block. So let's take the say you get a 1. It has 1 mine adjacent to it and there is only one unopened block next to it. Therefore, it must be a mine. Flag it by pressing the space bar, or press the bomb found button, then click on the square with the bomb to mark it. • If you get an 8 that means that all the blocks around it are mines. • If a block with a 2 has only two unopened tiles, and no surrounding bombs, flag the unopened ones and same for other numbers (if you got 8, you're a pretty lucky person). • The game completes when you have flagged every mine or set off a mine • Start from an edge, the way the program sets the mines, you will have the greatest chance to get a zero from a corner.
