Its a long story... It really is... Here it is: Basically, I was trying to come up with a name for the group of people I'm usually with. I thought of the derps and suggested it to them when someone said: "Hey, what about the derpsters!" This was also when I was introduced to this song. In the end, this is what I decided to make in honor of our complete craziness. Oh and I like squids. The squid was my idea too.
