(DO NOT STEAL) Sort of backstory??: Akari Kim is a 12-18 year old who is a musical sensation (is that how you use the phrase?) internationally. EDIT 1/11/22: Her late mother was Korean, her father is an ABC: American born Chinese, like me :))) Her best-known song is 'Sweet Rose', or '달콤한 장미' in Korean. The song paints a beautiful and wistful song about how as a child she would always go out with her mother to pick the sweet-scented roses in their little garden until her mother got sick of cancer and eventually passed away. :'( Since then, Akari has raised awareness about children whose family members have cancer or are at risk of serious illness, and has written more songs to raise awareness. Akari also loves to volunteer at animal shelters, write, create poetry pieces, and plant flowers with her best friends. And if you have ever wondered about the beautiful bow and necklace Akari wears every time she performs, her mother's family has had the necklace for generations, and a custom, matching bow was created for Akari by her mother.
