This is an updated version of the tile scrolling tutorial project by @griffpatch, which aims to recreate Super Mario Advance 4. There are 4 levels. PC Controls: Arrow keys or WASD to move X to shoot fireball or float in the air Z to flick tail 0 to toggle level editor 1-5 to switch tiles, E to pick tile under cursor 9 to place enemies Q to Toggle auto tile arranging R to Reset the level L to switch levels (see levels 1-4) P to load level from code G to get all level codes M to hide joystick Mobile Controls: Move joystick left and right to move Move joystick up and down to jump and crouch, respectively.

Update Log: 1/1/22: Following the parts (up to 19) of griffpatch's tutorial to add koopas and other things! 1/29/22: Tweaked scoring a little bit. 3/30/22: Updated coin and score counts to be more faithful to original game. Scoring was tweaked a little, along with a few bug fixes. 3/31/22: A few improvements, including the ability for Koopa shells to trigger question blocks. 4/4/22: Project updated to part 20! 4/6/22: Fixed bug where score was not updated when Koopa Shells collect coins. 4/30/22: Raccoon Mario has been added! He can whack enemies with his tail and float in midair! 5/3/22: Breakable bricks have been added. 5/21/22: Patched out a bug that allowed Mario to gain infinite speed while sliding. 6/12/22: Minor bug fix. 6/19/22: I've added a remake of 1-1. Nothing too special, but there are a few minor changes. In other news, springs have been added! 8/13/22: Raccoon Mario takes to the skies! You can now fly with Raccoon Mario. 8/20/22: Fixed some bugs with Raccoon Mario. 3/18/23: Invisible blocks have been added, the first new update in nearly 7 months. 10/13/23: Minor bug fixes. 10/14/23: More minor bug fixes. 10/17/23: Minor bug fixes. 10/18/23: Made tanooki tail easier to use. 10/19/23: Added support for mobile controls. 4/28/24: Significant optimization; improved invisible blocks.
