IMPORTANT: This was an ARCHIVED project. It has now been unarchived and shared. @Zinkley is not returning to Scratch. ORIGINALLY SHARED: January 1, 2022 Oh boy. Where do I start? I'm honestly not sure how to phrase this in the most pleasant way possible, but here goes! I've decided to leave Scratch. Not yet, but somewhat soon. I swear, this isn't my goodbye project! I just wanted to let you guys know so it wasn't sudden. Well, you're probably thinking: Why? I just don't have the time. Scratch isn't my main priority, and there's been a ton going on IRL for me that I also have to focus on. I've lost interest in Scratch almost completely, and it's really hard pushing myself to finish projects and sharing them with you all. Don't get me wrong, I love this site to bits. You all are incredible, and I feel so grateful to have this fanbase and to be able to talk to such amazing and talented people. I'm planning on finishing the 1k Q&A Answers project as well as a big Zinkley lore project. I had already planned on leaving for a while now, it just didn't seem like the right time. Plus, I can't cancel the Q&A Answers like I did with my PFP requests (my 500 follower special). Also, I've been thinking of Zinkley backstories/future possibilities for a WHILE now, so I'd feel really bad if I had to get rid of all of it. Originally, I was going to create a huge series (I'm not disclosing the name, due to spoilers). Similar to The Unfamous by @huntedskelly, it would follow Zink and other characters of mine (that I still haven't introduced). Instead of putting people's OCs in it, I would have hosted auditions for voice actors and cast people to voice the characters. Exciting, but a LOT of work. And I don't think I'm ready to do any of that. After realizing that I probably didn't have the motivation, I decided that I would create a trailer in place of the full-blown series and leave it at that. Now, I'm thinking that even a trailer would be too much. So, all the info is just going to be put into one big project. Disappointing. But it could change, who knows? Anyways, back to what I was saying, the lore project/trailer/series will be my last "real" project. After that, I'll post my final goodbye, and be on my way. It's sad, I know! But everyone has to move on someday. I've been on Scratch for over 4 years now, and while it isn't a crazy long amount, I think that it's pretty significant. Scratch is just a stepping stone to crazy possibilities, in the end. I think that it's time for me to let go and start focusing on the future. This was a wild ride, and thank you guys so much for always being there for me. And again, this isn't my final project. There's still more to come, so don't worry! I love you all! Zink out.
