>>> We've all done something bad before, and felt guilt, but what do (and what should) you do afterward? Let's jump in! >>> First things first, repentance is when you turn away from your sin and turn towards God and righteousness, a full U-Turn. >>> Conviction is when you feel guilt. You have that sinking feeling in your stomach that tells you, "Oh, I shouldn't have done that." >>> When you feel bad what do you do? Well, you should go to God first, and repent of your sins. But how often is it when we feel bad (conviction) but do nothing about it? We have offended God when we sin, and we should repent. Conviction leads to repentance sometimes, but do you top at conviction and have a pity party for yourself? True repentance is when you CHANGE, and that you're not JUST SORRY, you turn around, you stop doing what you are doing.
