In spellfella, you play as a small mage tasked with defending against a sudden horde of soul creatures. + CONTROLS + WASD to move Click to fire a shadow ball Space to fire the currently selected special spell Press the number keys to select a spell (works for only 1 and 2) Hold R to recharge your mana + MECHANICS + You have a certain amount of MANA that you need to use your abilities. Killing enemies will add to your RECHARGE meter. Holding down R will let you quickly recharge mana; keep in mind that you cannot gain more to your recharge if it is being used. Keep an eye on your KILLS meter. If you reach a certain amount of kills, your max mana, max recharge and recharge time will improve. + SPELLS + Shadow Ball: A shadow ball that bounces once on surfaces. Uses 1 mana upon use. Spirit Blast: A long-ranged fast spirit that increases in size. Uses 10 mana upon use. Void Burst: A short-ranged ring that expands around the player. Uses 20 mana upon use. Spirit Destructor: Upgraded version of Spirit Blast, unlocked at 100 kills. Fires out a massive, incredibly powerful enraged spirit that destroys most enemies. Costs 10 mana to use. Abyssal Annihilator: Upgraded version of Spirit Blast, unlocked at 150 kills. Sends out a massive eye of annihilation, covering most of the screen and destroying most enemies. Costs 30 mana to use. + ENEMIES + Wandering Soul: Simple soul that wanders around. Mindlessly follows other souls if they have all gathered into an area to attack. Gives 5 recharge and deals 5 damage. Maddened Soul: Angry wandering soul that has focused its power more. Charges every target down with quick speeds, and takes 2 shadow orbs to kill. Gives 10 recharge and deals 10 damage. Soul Clump: A group of souls that have joined together as a single mass to increase their resistance. Immune to shadow balls, but will absorb and instantly be destroyed by any shadow spell. Gives 25 recharge and deals 25 damage. Marked Soul: A wandering soul marked by some strange force, giving it more speed and power. Completely immune to shadow orbs but not to other spells. Gives 7 recharge and deals 7 damage. Enraged Soul: A soul marked by some strange force, increasing its size and speed (along with its rage). Completely immune to spirit blast and its upgrades, but instantly dies to all other spells. Gives 15 recharge and deals 10 damage.
This game is experimental more so, and was made to test out certain things like ammo and upgrades.
