A Simulation I made. Press space to go to the next day. It is not uncommon for everything to die. The trees and blue dots follow the below rules. Rules: People need food. To get food they look for trees with apples in the 8 squares around them. If they see a tree they move to it. If they don't they move in a random direction. If they are on a tree they eat it. If more than 1 people are on the same tree they split the apples equally. If a person has 12 or more food they spilt into 2 people each with 6 food. People lose 1 food each day. Trees take 4 days to regrow their apples. They have a chance to turn into stumps. Stumps have a chance to turn back to empty squares. Empty squares have a chance to turn to saplings based on the number of trees in the squares beside them. Saplings grow into trees.
