Basically you can wait a really long time for a present day character, or you could wait slightly less time for a past character, that would be either old or dead now. With NightClan, BreezeClan, and LightningClan, you only have the option of a past character, but with those less important Clans, you'll have to wait longer. LightningClan is the least amount of wait, NightClan is the most.
