I'll try to make this description short.. (!! IF LAGGING DO NOT USE FULLSCREEN!!) 8+ GB RAM recommended NOTE: for less lag go to https://turbowarp.org/623577391 (thanks CZSuperboy for pointing this out!) arrow keys or a/d to move. for mobile users: 1. i'm terribly sorry to inform you that your phone will be no more in a few seconds (this seriously crashed google on my phone) 2. use the scroll bar below to navigate hover over anything to learn "cool facts!!". mostly just random things about it, or nothing at all at times i got lazy. hold "0" for debug mode (shows variables) some stuff from the original has been removed (mainly for storage) but it's mostly random stars you may notice lag when this project is run. why? well, scratch REALLY doesn't like a lot of vector objects moving or changing size, so much so that it's listed in the wiki as a cause of lag. well, that happens to be what this project is about. i tried my best to get rid of the lag, but you're just gonna have to grin and bear it, sadly. (ACTUAL COMMENTS) i've been working on and off on this for about a month. this thing hits the clone limit (300) so there are multiple sprites for the last couple of objects. surprisingly, the "zoom" variable only goes from -1 to around 60. I expected it to go into the millions, but nope. the power of powers. go inside to see some notes about code in the project about remixes: i'd only be happy with them if they add something new, just reposting this project isn't very cool. good luck adding anything because this thing is hard to edit. incoherent ramblings i feel like adding from here downwards: this is probably the most ambitious project i have made since scpeb (that thing's still (NOT 3/1/23) being made, i just haven't worked on it for a while). has 288 objects (not including the rings) why did i make this? to be perfectly honest, just to have something popular i'm proud of. i have worked only a bit with a lot of projects and my most popular one (currently) took around 40 mins to make. i just wanna kinda have something i'm proud of and i also feel deserves the attention it gets, you know? if you do wanna support me, check out the things i DO think are good: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/535206567/ (if the moon were only 1 pixel) (tidepool) enough of that sob story, anyway. i am actually typing this before the project is finished, so i don't even know if this is gonna be released. i'll add to these ramblings when i feel like it. you're still here? shoutout to frostwings :3 an extra special shoutout to gor-dee for helping me un-spaghettify my code. fun fact: spaghettify is a real word, it describes the phenomenon of your body being stretched out heavily due to the tidal forces of a black hole (how fitting for this project) you can actually see the old ui and sprites in the thumbnail. i changed it now so that's gone remember when i said this was gonna be short? yeah. future updates go here:[ 2/2/22 bug fixes 1 and debug mode 3/3/22 thumbnail change 23-24/06/23 optimisation changes - removed unnecessary calculations, mainly with converting from standard form to e notation. ] future updates stop here ramblings over for now.
This is HEAVILY inspired by Scale Of The Universe 2 by the huang twins (who you may know as jacknjellify. yes, the creators of BFDI.) Credit to the pictures I used which aren't drawn by me (You can tell which ones I'm talking about because they look good). Scratch is small enough where you don't have to worry about copyrighted images, when it is big enough, i may have a tiny problem.
