The prologue of the first book in my Autumn Queen series. Currently the only complete chapter. The first three parts of the prologue are old, but have been subject to updating and editing. The fourth part is the most recent. Trigger warnings? Death, small romance scene, Rosacen's "voice." Word count? 2,531. Plot weirdness for self: IT WAS THORVIN NOT THORVIL WHO -ENDED- MARCUS. DID THORVIN KNOW ABOUT HIS BROTHER AND RENA? DID, AT EXTENSION, ROSACEN? COULD THANE ACTUALLY HAVE CLAIMED THE THRONE AS THE SPRING QUEEN/KING? ISUDRBGWIBRGEI. HOW IN CONTROL WAS ROSA OF THORVIN DURING THE SCENE IN HERE? HOW MUCH OF WHAT HE SAID/DID/THOUGHT WAS INFLUENCED OR CONTROLED BY ROSA? URGIWFNDAKLMEFHIUWYWQID. Note to self: Do some thorough editing of the Thorvin-and-Marcus scene. I don't like it was written. Question to Thorvin: Would Thorvil actually have let you be around his wife and kid once he found out what you did? There's a flaw right there. You could not have raised (brought up or elevated) Thane if that is the case. Statement to hypothetical reader: Apologies for any mistakes anywhere. And for my ramblings.
