"The Thing About Jellyfish" by Ali Benjamin~ I read this book about 3 or more years ago. Recently, I reread it and it's definitely a favorite of mine. It combines science, acceptance, and realistic experiences into one thing! The book features Suzanne "Suzy," a girl with frizzy hair and fascinating views of the world, progressing through the acceptance of her friend's death as she goes through 7th grade.
