Never say, "God made me lie," or "It was the Satan," (Satan may tempt you, but he has no actual power over you.) >>> ii. Believing something because someone else believes it. It is also a bandwagon fallacy, but most importantly you need to feel it yourself in your heart. You need to study and interpret God's word for yourself and no one else should do it for you. >>> iii. Taking the Bible much too literally or much too metaphorically. (i.e. Jesus would rebuild the temple in three days, taking it too literally. He was talking about his resurrection, but not the literal temple.) >>> iv. Taking the Bible out of context. Ever heard context is king? It's true. Never take the Bible out of context just because you want to win an argument. >>> v. Trying to do things without God's Help. We have the power to do nothing without God. We just don't have the willpower. We need to be constantly praying and asking God for strength, in whatever we do. >>> vi. Looking for restoration and happiness in everything but God. It's so easy to run to TV or friends, but don't do that. The only thing that will ever content us forever is Jesus Christ. He can fulfill, nothing else.
