In his old house, the entire basement was taken up by the large train table and bookshelves upon bookshelves of model trains. Engines, freight cars, passenger cars; you name it, he had it. A huge part of my childhood was standing around that table, pressing the different switches and lights. Sadly, when he and my grandma moved, their new house did not have anywhere to store all of these trains. They sold them to a fellow train enthusiast, who estimated that he had hundreds of trains! My grandpa kept a few favorites, which sit on his desk and the bookshelves in his office. I thought that this would be a great way to honor his passion! Credits Everything in this project- Art, code, thumbnail- was made by me. I used references for the anatomy of the train, but the art was done by me in vector. The color palette used is a 90's vintage procreate palette I got off of google :) I am /extremely/ proud of my little avatar thingy!! OH RIGHT THE FONT ON THE TRAIN THING IS ENDOR FROM @FONTGOD Random Things Time taken- about a week A whole day to fix bugs in the code :') I love the thumbnail even though it has nothing to do with the theme lol
