She doesn't talk much around strangers but demonstrates a great deal of knowledge. She has high standards for xaer friends and it is a bit hard to get through to them. Once you break through her surface, Ayren is more insecure and anxious than xae lets on. Desperate to prove xaerself as intelligent, Ayren often wonders how others think of her. Being thought of as stupid is one of their many phobias, paired with a long list of fears. She has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and longs to learn as much as she can, fearing that the ways of life will never be clear enough and xae will never know the truth.
