(You get a bonus project today cuz I feel like releasing another one) - FACTS ABOUT THE ROCKET - - Built for NASA for the Gemini Program between 1964 to 1966. - This rocket was the first to launch a spacecraft that docked with another one in orbit. It was also the first American rocket to launch a crew of more than one person. - This rocket was derived from the US. Titan Missile and was built by the Glenn L. Martin Company. - The Titan II was fueled with Aerozine 50 and nitrogen tetroxide. - This rocket was designed to reach orbit and had 2 stages. - The Gemini capsule did not have a launch escape system, it had EJECTOR SEATS, which were dangerous, and also a major fire hazard and probably would have killed the crew if they had been used. Fortunately, they never were needed. - Right at T-0 when the Titan II launched, the engine startup system made a funny little "Bwooop!" sound. You can hear it in any of the Gemini launches, but it sounds really good on the Gemini 10 launch. Just search "Gemini 10 Launch Video" in your Internet browser to hear it. It happens right at liftoff. Loved and faved by @IguanaLover, thanks!
