>>> Psalm 105:1 -- "Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done." Today we will be covering what true worship looks like. Let's dive right in! >>> First off, there are several different kinds of worship. (1) Worship With our Voices (2) Worship With our Actions (3) Worship with Prayer. We'll take a look at what all of them look like. >>> Worship With our Voices - I think we all know what this is. Singing hymns and whatnot. Just singing a song is fine, but some people (like me) connect a lot to god's truth, and who he is. We shouldn't sing just for show, but because we are doing it to honor and glorify our Lord. (Some great worship songs in 'Notes and Credits') >>> Worship With our Actions - what we say, what we do, we should always be doing it according to what the Bible says and what God wants. If we are rude to another person, it reflects on God and who he is. We should offer our bodies as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1). When we say something kind, or think something kind, or do something kind, we are worshipping God with our actions. >>> Worship With Prayer - pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) we should always be praying. When we pray, whether it is thanking him for what he has done, asking for wisdom or strength, or asking him to help you, it's all done in worship. >>> All three of these kinds of worship are amazing, but don't just limit yourself to one! If God has done all this amazing stuff for you, praise HIM! <33
