Welcome to the first installation of Sunrise Surprise, a fun new character adopting event! Space to progress through the themes The green flag brings you to theme 1 This is a surprise adopts, meaning once the theme is claimed I'll make a character based on the theme that the claimer would then receive. Today I'm doing different kinds of mushrooms :D There are two types of 'claiming' you can do. Dibs, and Offers. Let me explain... ~Dibs basically means you can potentially get the character for free, but if someone else offers, then your dib could easily be lost to that. You can have one dib at a time but if that dib gets lost to an offer you may dib again on another theme. You can not dib over someone else's dib, or over someone else's offer. When someone dibs on a theme I start making the character, if I finish the character and no one has offered then the dib becomes a locked dib and cannot be offered over. The character goes to the dibber. ~Offers mean you're offering to give something for the character, whether that's art or other characters, whatever the case. Offers are locked in and cannot be offered over. That being said they're not entirely first-come-first-serve either, if you make a better offer before the original offer is accepted you're still liable to potentially be accepted instead. You may not offer over an accepted offer or a locked dib. So the status of themes are as follows open-No one has called dibs or offered dib-someone has called dibs but you can still offer over LD- 'Locked Dib' someone called dibs and cannot be offered over for whatever reason off- someone offered and cannot be dibbed or offered over Please let me know if any of this is confusing or if you have any questions, I'll be glad to help!
