I like music and I like Blissfate, so - you can see where this is going. song - you'll understand when you're older (lovejoy; pebble brain) I don't know the specifics of why I chose this - the storyline of the song doesn't necessarily represent anything in his life - but the general mood and musical part of the song just exude Blissfate vibes. lyrics that are relevant: "said I'd understand when I'm older" - the name of the song, Blissfate is the second-youngest in his large family and has been one of the youngest cats in the clan for a while, seeing as there were no new kits or younger apprentices until he was fourteen moons old. this definitely gives him feelings of inferiority and/or a yearning to not be 'the kid', even though he is a very mature cat. "she says you've been inside for too long" - not inside, but /alone/. Blissfate spends a massive amount of time outside of camp, attempting to put himself in his own private bubble and not talk to anyone. reminiscent of quarantine, he's been spending a lot of time in his own head and is currently (at age thirtyish) trying to reenter the world. "but you're talking in your sleep" - Blissfate is notorious for being a massive insomniac for the early part of his life. he currently takes poppy seeds before bed sometimes to fall asleep, and leaf-bare helps with that a lot, but this line represents those tendencies because when he is supposed to be sleeping, he is awake and talking. "you can tell he's lying 'cause his lips move" - Blissfate /hates/ liars. he himself is always honest, to the point of being too blunt at times, and cats who lie are his worst nightmare. "what kind of pressure do they put on you?" - similar to his 'being the youngest' dilemma, Blissfate - overthinker and high achiever that he is - puts a lot of pressure on himself, and feel a lot of pressure because he has such a large family. while he wants to live up to who he should be and stand out, this pressure is exactly what keeps him from doing so - he's too scared to mess up, so he isolates himself from everyone, which makes him feel more pressure because he hasn't done anything yet. it's a vicious cycle and one that he'll eventually get out of. I hope. "if I'm going down, you're coming with me" - Blissfate is not a nice cat. he also has a very large revenge-esque mentality - if he can't have it, no one should, or if he gets in trouble, then so should the cat that got him in trouble. while revenge doesn't really fix much, Blissfate's strong sense of karmatic 'justice' pulls him to yearn for vengeance when wronged. I got the song off a random pebble brain scratch project :) also it's clean because I'm not gonna get banned. hope you enjoyed my theme song / mini character analysis of my little Blissbab!
