~Regret After Rage~ Midnight's P.O.V (This chapter is sad.) I walked to Mr. Scout's den's wooden door. I knocked the door calling, "Mr. Scout!" I opened the door after waiting for 3 minutes. And, my guess is right. There, with his head on his desk, is Scout, sleeping. I pushed his body a bit whispering, "Mr, can I borrow a scroll?" "Hmm? Yes, yes," he answered, still with his eyes closed. I thanked him, then grabbed a scroll with a ribbon written, 'The One'. I closed the door quietly. After that, I ran to a nearby river. Then I opened the scroll. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the beginning, all the animals... are JUST animals, nothing special. Carnivores hunts. Herbivores grazes. Omnivores did one of those at a time. Then, the birth of the very first magical animal arrived. Thor and Astrid, The One's parents, gave birth to him at the night, bellow the shining full moon. The One, was named, Silent Echo. Then as he grow up, he start to realize he has a special ability. He is able to give other animals magic! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Silent Echo... left me? I wonder why..." I said to myself quietly. "Mid?" a voice shocked me. "Aaah!" I shouted, falling onto the ground. Alas, the scroll got dirty. My body hit some mud that splashes all it's liquid to the scroll. I looked at who is behind me, Ginger. "What have you done?!" I hissed. Ginger's shining face turned surprised. She looked at my muddy body and the scroll I was reading. "Sorry, Midnight. I didn't mean too," she said, trying to wipe the mud away from my fur. "I don't need your help!" I shouted, pushing her paw away. Her face shows sadness and guilt. She knows so much that I doesn't like my books or scrolls destroyed. But, this time, though she didn't know, the problem is that she destroys the one thing that can be my question's answer, Why did The One left me? "How could you?! This scroll is borrowed. What if Mr. Scout refuse to teach me?" I said with all my anger. She sobbed. Then I realized, she didn't mean to shock me just to tease me. I realized that it wasn't her fault. When I went to this conclusion, all my anger turned to guilt, and regret. She said in a quiet voice, "I... I'm sorry, Midnight..." After she ran out of my sight, I cried too. I was wrong to be angry at her like that... How can we save the stars now? How will the night look without the stars beside the moon? How will my life feel without Ginger, my sister, beside me? ~End of Ch.10~ Previous : Next: None yet.
