Oh /god/, /IT LIKES YOU/." - - Dipper stared at the writhing black mass before him, it's thousands of splintering, strange black hands and arms all reaching out for him, yet standing still. He couldn't help the fear that crawled up his throat-- This was the thing that took his sister after all. But something was different. It was waiting. Waiting for him. To do what..? He faintly heard Soos call out something so dumb that it was slightly funny, even in the state of terror and confusion he had found himself in. He would have laughed, but... His gaze flickered over the black mass- It hurt to look at, yet he didn't want to tear his gaze from it. It wasn't grabbing him forcefully as it had to his sister. He pushed past the panic that told him to run from this strange thing he didn't understand and studied it closer, the calls of his friends becoming fainter by the second as he tuned them out. It's limbs were bent at painful angles, but it didn't seem bothered. It just sat there, waiting. Again, /waiting for what/? /What did it want him to do/?! As frustration bubbled up inside him, the black mass seemed to... Nod? Approve? ...What...? He tried to push the thoughts away as he realized what it wanted. No, no, that was something he couldn't afford. Could he? - - "There's something that wants him. It wants /him/. The things it's done are merely a way to get to him, to make him vulnerable! Stanley, we /have/ to do something about this." - - Something changed.
