If that ever happened I would become their friend right away so they would have someone to have a shoulder to cry on and someone to stand up for them
this somewhat happened to me i was telling a story in class and at one point i said "my girlfriend" (im bi) 4 ppl legit walked out of the class abt 6 pll started asking questions and 5 ppl bullied me
