>>> heyo! Hope y’all are having an absolutely amazing day! Today I decided to jab my head off on dating and love from a Christian perspective. This is just my personal opinion, but if you are dating just some things to watch out for. >>> So first, we should always look at the Bible first. Song of Solomon is a perfect place. It talks about dating and all that jazz. One that most Christians know is Song of Solomon 8:4 - “Do not awaken love too early.” That means don’t begin a romantic relationship before you are ready, mature and old enough. >>> I think crushes are fine, just don’t let it carry you away because you aren’t ready for that commitment yet. A crush is just where you admire things about a person, and want them to admire you back. >>> A good comment I saw down below is from @stardustted: "I think another reason why it’s better to not date or at least seriously date until you’re a little older is because then you can keep your options open and instead of keeping on dating one person you might find someone better for you! :3 And also if you’re older I think it’s probably easier to recognize red flags in people and also communicate with them better started dating when you were younger." >>> Another thing is when you go into a romantic relationship the Bible wants the other person to love God. Married couples should love God even more than they love their spouse. When going into a relationship, make sure they are Christian and are committed to loving God.
