It never came. I felt as if I was underground, falling. I opened my eyes, and saw the fountain bottom above me. I had somehow gone through the water, and the ground, without feeling anything. I started panicking, trying to reach a side. Suddenly, a girls voice filled the hole. “Hi Lis! Please don’t freak out…” Of course, I panicked more. This random girl knew my name. “Who are you?!” I shouted back. “How do you know my name?! What do you want from me?!” The girl sighed. “I said not to panic. I’ll explain everything. Just calm down! I’m not here to hurt you! I can help!” I was still falling. Was she the one making me fall? “Why am I falling? Why would you make me fall if you want me not to panic? And again, how do you know my name?” I said again. “I’m Hli. And you’re falling? Sorry, I’m not very good with projections..” The area around me turns from black to gray, and now I’m sitting in a cave. “Is that better?” Hli asked. “Um… now I’m in a cave. I’m not falling, if that’s what you mean.” I respond annoyed. “Where are you?” I ask, still annoyed at her for not telling me how she knows my name. “Hli. That means Moon in Hmong, right?” Hmong is the language we use to use. Barely anyone remembers it, but most names derive from it. Mine means strength or power. My parents didn’t know I would be a Strength, or Lub Zog, Khawv Koob. They didn’t even realize it was possible for me to be a Khawv Koob. Hli ‘s voice snapped me back to reality. Or… whatever this cave is. “Yea. Sorry about the cave.. and the falling…. But if you had realized you fell though the ground and saw a girl, what would you think? You might’ve attacked me, and I’ve already been attacked enough coming here. I’m actually about two feet in front of you, I probably look like something else.” I look where she indicated, seeing a column of rock. I look closer, and I see the fainted outline of a girl inside of it. “Well I’m not going to attack you unless you keep me in this illusion. I want to see where we are.” I said, then the cave fell around me. We were in a small enclave, when I looked up, I still saw the bottom of the fountain. I looked around and saw Hli standing. I took her in. Pink hair, just like the girl I just rescued. Blue eyes, just like the girl I just rescued. Purple gemstone in her hair, the exact same shape and color of the little girls. The only difference was Hli was older, and only had one gemstone. A Khawv Koob, a Lub Siab. Specialty in Teleportation, Telekinesis, or Telepathy. One area in telepathy is Projections, which is how she made me think I was falling. And why it looked like I was in a cave. “So…. Yo-“ She cut me off. “I wasn’t sure they were telling the truth, you seemed too self centered, but they were right! You did save Hnub!” I was offended. “You think I’m self centered? I released that girl and told her to please help as many as she could. I tried to lead the guards away from them. She seemed pretty smart. Just because I don’t want to die doesn’t mean I’m self centered. Wait, who told you I would save who?” “That girls name is Hnub, and she’s my sister. A Neeg Pom told me that you would. And do you really think the royal guard would kill you? They answer to the Princess now. She doesn’t support death.” A Neeg Pom, huh? Who is this girl? How does she know a Seer? And how does she know Ying doesn’t support death. “You don’t know Y- The princess like I do. The Queen would do anything to have me dead. The princess wouldn’t have an option. Also, your name means ‘Moon’ and your sisters means ‘Sun’? Interesting…” She nodded, then pulled out a remote of some sort. She pressed a button, and a grinding sound came from above. I looked up, and a sheet of metal covered the bottom of the fountain. “Did you just lock us in? What do you want with me?” I asked
